The Scream
The Scream
The Artist's Perspective:
This artwork is named "The Scream" and is intended to capture another competing idea that differs from the original. This artwork occurs within the City of Chicago at Navy Pier.
The rationale for setting the scene at Navy Pier is that the original artwork was set on a bridge at an angle, and Navy Pier is also able to be represented in an angle similar to that scene.
The sky is still bright orange, which is partially what the original artist was attempting to capture because of a volcanic eruption. Examine this artwork. What is the intention, who is screaming, and why? There are lots of things to discuss in this artwork.
